Recently a group of fellow 28mm Clash of Empires gamers gathered in Long Beach CA. The tabletop scenario was based on the historical events of the Revolt of the Batavi 70 AD. A complete AAR, with embedded YouTube video commentary links, has been posted on the Wargamerabbit.wordpress.com blog site: Link
Some galley pictures for the HMGS membership showing highlight action:

Cheers form the warren….. WR
Recently, WR travelled south for the monthly 25/28mm Napoleonic club games. Since the late 1970′s, our at-large club has organized historical and pickup Napoleonic gaming, either at a club member’s gaming room or the local HMGS-PSW conventions. Interested parties can read the complete game AAR’s found on the Wargamerabbit blog site, with the following links, but here are some pictures with comments. In the foreground, the French flanking corps assaulting the farmstead complex and the Austrian open right flank.
Close up of the marching French infantry while the attached chasseurs a’ cheval retire from the front lines. Farmstead in the distance. Read the rest of this entry »
Wargamerabbit (WR) has returned back to his warren from a successful HMGS-PSW convention. Hats off to the HMGS-PSW team which effectively created the convention from nothing to a full convention in one month (Bill, Harmon, Matt & David). Pictures and some quick game comments observed by WR:
Friday Night:
WR’s first game was Friday night. Titled “Breaking the San Fratello line; Sicily 1943″. Over the years, WR has collected a large collection of 20mm (1/72) miniatures. Enjoying the popular Flames of war game system, WR has adapted 15mm FOW to the large miniature scale of 20mm. Full game details can be found in WR’s blog site. Link & Link…. but here are some action pictures…. Read the rest of this entry »
