- PRESIDENT — Bill Witthans, Castaic, CA. 91384, 661-816-7991, Email : vonkluge@ca.rr.com Website www.HistoricalHobbies.com What does the President do? I set the general agenda for the term I serve. I have a list of things I want to see the club do or achieve. This is partly based on my own agenda and partly on what the membership wants for the future. I oversee all the projects and am ultimately responsible for making sure things get done. The “buck” stops here!
- VICE-PRESIDENT — Harmon Ward III, Anaheim, CA. 92805, 714-778-2582 Email him at hjw@pacbell.net The VP does many of the same things the President does. He is the President’s right hand man helping to make sure nothing falls through the gaps. He also handles “Special” large projects like Harmon’s “Museo” project. He also oversees all of our recruiting efforts.
- TREASURER — Matt Denny, Valencia, CA. Contact information pending approval for release. The Treasurer is in charge of keeping track of the club’s finances; even though we are “non-profit”, we do have a savings account that is used to provide funding for conventions, website, newsletter, etc., and any special projects. He deposits our gold in Fort Knox and issues checks to pay our bills!
- CONVENTION MANAGER — Dave Dandridge, one tough job in HMGS/PSW. The convention manager is in charge of securing our convention site, making sure everything we need is arranged, tables, boards, chairs, vendors,etc. He is the first in and the last out! He also gets registration for games, publishes the PEL and manages convention floor space. Email him at dsd27442@lausd.net
- WEBMASTER’s – Bill Witthans & Matt Denny, Email us via the our email on this website. The Webmaster’s administer and work in the background to keep our website running smoothly. We update it and keep “spammers” out—a vital but often overlooked job. Great websites are a real asset to a healthy club but are also a lot of work!
So what you really have here is 3 “officers” and two “czars” so to speak, as Matt and Dave are more volunteers appointed by the President or some say “begged” into their very important jobs! We may have several more “Czars” soon as other projects requiring members’ help arise!
